Matt Jones
Matt is a freshman at Beaufort County Community College on the College Transfer Pathway. He is planning to transfer to the Theatre Production program at ECU. He works in the writing center between classes because it gives him a chance to meet new people and to help other students learn to write more effectively.
Mary Beth Boltinhouse
Mary Beth attends Beaufort County Community College. She lives on the outskirts of Washington with her boyfriend, two dogs, a cat and a bearded dragon. When she finishes her general education classes at BCCC, she plans to attend ECU and pursue her K-12 teaching license. She wants to teach Sign Language and Spanish. She enjoys working in the writing center because she likes helping people feel success and reach their potential.
Jordan Fulford
Jordan is a student at Beaufort County Community College. She lives in Martin County with her family. After she finishes her associates degree, she plans to attend ECU where she will pursue a masters degree in special education. She wants to spend her career in the field of special education.
Wendy Wolfe
Wendy just arrived in Eastern North Carolina from San Diego. She lives in Washington with her family, five dogs, and a cat. She will transfer to ECU to obtain her degree in elementary education. She will maintain a focus on reading and English and wants to teach third grade. She enjoys working in the writing center because she can help others learn new skills and boost their confidence.
